Why Cloth Choice Matters in Softgel Production
During the softgel production process, a few small tools and supplies are not strictly necessary but are very useful, such as chopsticks and cloth. Keep some cloth near the machine so that operators can pick it up and use it to:
- clean the oil off the softgel machine;
- wipe their hands and wipe the tools;
- wipe the contents of the capsule clean, so that they can measure the capsule capacity or observe the capsule seams;
- protect the die rollers from damage when installing the segment.
However, you need to choose the cloth carefully. Do not use just any oil-absorbing towel or cloth, because most cloths shed lint and contaminate the softgels, which makes cleaning up time-consuming and laborious.

The middle layer has a very strong oil-absorption capacity, so the cloth can not only absorb oil strongly but also prevent lint from sticking to the surface of the capsule and causing contamination.
How to use it
The cloth can be hung inside the tumble dryer basket to absorb oil during the softgel production process. It can also be used to wipe oil off the surface of capsules after drying. The cloth can be washed and reused.
